PASSING ON COW WORSHIP FROM ONE GENERATION TO THE NEXT

This is the first time in the history of the western world that grandparents are teaching the children how to honor mother cow. Your support insures that daily pujas will continue.  See our webpage

IN THIS UNIVERSE THERE IS NO ACT AS AUSPICIOUS AS PROTECTING AND WORSHIPING LORD KRISHNA'S COWS

Krishna could have appeared anywhere.  He chose to live among the cowherders.

In all of western Canada there was no goshala where the cow is protected, loved and worshiped.  There are however hundreds of establishments for abusing and mistreating the cow.  We changed that.

The Saranagati Goshala project has a barn near the school.  This barn is a clean and comfortable and demonstrates a high level of love and respect for cows. Besides feeding and caring for the cow, regular Go Puja will be conducted.  Supporters and friends will be welcome to make personal offerings to the cow.

Surabhi cow went to a remote part of the forest to birth a female calf called Mohini Earlier that week, 2 new gir cows arrived to Ahimsa Goshala from a small farm in BC that needed a home, or they might end up being sold for slaughter. Welcome to Varuni and Revati. They were restless and confused at first, but they quickly realized they had arrived in a wonderful new home. Sincere thanks to the many devotees who helped this to happen. NEW GOSHALA AT SARANAGATI The devotees are busy building an additional Goshala in anticipation for the new cows. 32 volunteers donated over 120 hours of manpower to make the clay/straw walls. Next step will be the hay loft and the roof. Made entirely of timbers milled right in Saranagati Village Our original Gir cow, Surabhi, is in ecstasy that she will be graced with the association of two new friends who belong to practically the same family lineage.
