Fence Philosophy

Srila Prabhupada says:  It may be an ideal village where the residents will have plain living and high thinking. For plain living we must have sufficient land for raising crops and pasturing grounds for the cows. If there is sufficient grains and production of milk, then the whole economic problem is solved.

Yoginath prabhu says:  We own nearly 2000 acres of land. We are the only non rancher, non commercial entity in the entire region holding a large volume of land resource. What we choose to do with the land tells the world who we are.

Bhakti Raghava swami says: Saranagati Village should create a vibrant agrarian based community where cows and land form the basis of the community's activities and its economic base.  The primary objective is developing a localized self-sufficient and sustainable community where land and cows become the center of attention.  Fencing protects our crops and maintains a herd of our own productive cow.

Fence Management

Fence Project manager provides monthly, detailed reports and financials to the board of directors including section to be worked on including budget, timeline etc.  Ongoing communication between board and project manager takes place as project proceeds.  Community is informed regularly via online postings.
